Between Rain and Railway Tracks
After the wedding chaos, the two of them had finally left for their honeymoon.
For the first time in days, there was peace. No guests, no noise, no responsibilities — just Saif and Ayza beginning a new chapter together.
They reached the railway station late in the evening because Ayza had always dreamed of a romantic train journey with the man she loved. Her excitement was impossible to hide. She held Saif’s arm closely while waiting for the train, her eyes sparkling like a child experiencing something magical for the first time.
Sitting beside him on the station bench, she rested against his shoulder quietly. Saif had always been her safe place in this world — the calm in every storm, the comfort behind every fear.
They were traveling to Islamabad by train, and from there they would continue their journey by road to the beautiful Kaghan Valley in KPK. Ayza had one dream she could never stop talking about — she wanted to see the beauty of Saif-ul-Malook Lake with Saif himself beside her. He smiled every time she mentioned it, loving the innocence behind her excitement.
Soon, the train arrived.
Saif had booked a private compartment for them so they could enjoy every moment together without disturbance. As the train slowly left the station, Ayza sat near the window, unable to hide her happiness. The moving lights outside, the rhythmic sound of the train engine, and the feeling of traveling together made everything feel unreal.
Hours later, as the train entered Punjab, rain began to fall.
Tiny droplets raced across the glass window while the cool breeze carried the scent of wet earth inside. Ayza watched the rain with glowing eyes, completely mesmerized. It was her first train journey, and somehow the rain made it even more romantic.
Night slowly wrapped itself around the world outside.
Inside the warm compartment, only soft yellow lights remained. Saif gently wrapped his arms around Ayza while they shared hot cups of tea together. The sound of rain tapping against the windows mixed perfectly with the distant rhythm of the train tracks.
In that quiet moment, the world outside no longer mattered.
There were no people, no cities, no worries — only two hearts deeply in love.
Ayza rested peacefully against Saif while he held her closer, as if he never wanted that night to end. Between the rain, the calm darkness, the sound of the moving train, and the warmth of each other’s presence, they became completely lost in their own little universe.
And somewhere between those silent moments and shared glances, they realized this was not just a journey to the mountains…
It was the beginning of forever.
