A Cup of Tea in the Rain
A Cup of Tea in the Rain
It was a quiet Sunday evening. The world outside seemed to be slowing down as soft clouds gathered in the sky. Ayesha stood on the balcony, waiting with two cups of tea in her hands. She always believed that love wasn’t about grand gestures — it was hidden in small moments, like sharing tea while the rain painted the world fresh again.
A few minutes later, Imran walked in, tired from the day but his face lit up as soon as he saw her. Ayesha smiled and handed him a cup, their fingers brushing slightly. He sat beside her, the gentle breeze carrying the fragrance of wet earth.
The first raindrops fell, tapping lightly on the railing. Ayesha leaned back, feeling a sense of peace she had always longed for. Imran draped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close. They didn’t need too many words — just the silence, the rain, and the warmth of tea were enough.
As the sky darkened, Imran looked at her and whispered, “These small moments are what make life beautiful.”
Ayesha smiled, realizing that sometimes, happiness was as simple as a cup of tea in the rain with the one you love.
