I said my final goodbye to you,
With an ocean of tears, my heart in two.
I thought you'd stand by, hold me near,
But you turned away, deaf to my fear.

I thought you'd believe, understand my pain,
See the storm within, the endless rain.
You knew the weight I carried inside,
Yet you left me alone, no one to confide.

You betrayed the love I gave so true,
All your words—a web untrue.
Regret now lingers where love once lay,
As I bid you farewell on that fateful day.
